Photo Gifts on a Budget
Photo gifts can cost a little, or a lot. The beauty of a photo gift is that the photo is the main gift. What the photo is printed on can vary with different budgets, but nothing is lost from the gift! We all have our current budgets to consider when we buy gifts. Sometimes we can afford something more; sometimes we need to spend less.
If life is going well and “the geese are getting fat,” then you probably have a big budget. Maybe you’ll want to give photo books to all your friends and relatives. ($20-$100 each) If you’re saying, “whoa now, hold on!’ Then perhaps your budget is less extravagant, but the next line, “Please to put a penny in an old man’s hat” still encourages generous giving. A photo mouse pad, photo calendar, or photo mug fits your budget. ($7-$20)
If your budget is strained, then you might feel “…you haven’t got a penny, [but] a ha’penny will do.” A photo greeting card, or a flip book would be just right. ($1.50-$5) Finally, if your budget is currently nonexistent, then the last line is for you: “If you haven’t got a ha’penny, then God bless you.” In that case, send a photo attached to an email with a nice note and “it’s all good!” ($0) The important thing to remember is to express your love. Photo gifts are visual reminders of your love, and you can give one on any budget!
